I am having to retype this thing.ANyways.It is kinda late writing about my weekend on wednesday but better late than never.Have shifted my coordinates from NITIE,powai to UDCT,Matunga.ANd this place is a lovely place.The only places i could go to in andheri was Hiranandani's or andheri station!!!!!!!And i dont have to shell out a princely sum of 4.5 grand pm for acco......

From there,i went to dadar and got a ticket to shirdi where i would be joining my parents.The ride in volvo was painful as i had to hear a hindi movie.A piece of advice to ppl who are planning to travel by a volvo.Take the seats at the end of the bus or else you will end up sleeping only when the conductor does!!!!!

Reached shirdi at 7am.Had breakfast and then went to temple(god helps those who help themselves!!!!!).Managed to avoid the rush when things get ugly with people jostle for space.Had a punjabi thali for lunch and it was yummy.After that,i watched travel and discovery for 4-5 hrs.I must add that it was satisfying as i was watching tv after a looooong span of 3 months.....

After dinner,i took the overnite bus back to bbay.This time i had to watch a hindi movie as the tv was right in my face.Managed to get a quick nap before getting the room in place.Reached gateway at 1.Had lunch in a weird restaurant where trippal fried rice and other exotic dishes were being served.Took a ferry to elephanta caves.It is a decent place for trekking.Was an incident where my friend resisted a monkey who was hell-bent upon having the fanta that he was having.He finally had to give up.Wondering if monkeys have any affinity to drinks being promoted by rani mukherjee......The ride back was fun with water splashig all over our side.ANd after sometime,the sunset was beautiful.After that,went to McDs.ANd then roamed around in the local market,finding out about some info about gramaphones and encapsulated clocks.

Then went to bade miyan for dinner.Had to wait an extraordinary long time before we got a table.And upon that,we got an overconfident waiter who insisted on remebering a huge order resluting in my order being forgotten.And the food was nowhere close to sufficient.Bloody.The place WAS costly.and i felt that the food was no big deal(coming from hyd,i think it is fair).Then had a softy and walked to VT from where i took a train to vadala.

Right now,am exploring the place.Seems to be a fun place(not in the girgaon chaupati way though).Will post my experiences later.
